Making things is good for us — and making things together is even better.

I'm Anna, a Tucson maker who has spent years bouncing between sewing, woodworking, gardening, graphic design, upcycling, and whatever other creative rabbit hole catches my attention.

We live in a world that makes it very easy to buy things and not so easy to slow down long enough to make them.

I don't believe creativity has to become a hustle, require expensive supplies, or result in something perfect.

Sometimes the value is simply in sitting down, working with your hands, experimenting, learning something new, and spending time with other people.

Slow Down & Make Stuff brings those ideas together through creative workshops, crafting parties, community experiences, and handmade goods.
